Santorini Catamaran Cruise from Kamari: Hotel Pickup Included
Staying in Kamari? Hotel pickup is included with every cruise, the exact pickup time is confirmed the day before, and every cruise departs from Vlychada Marina on the south coast.

Kamari is the long black-sand beach resort on Santorini’s east coast, beneath the mountain of Mesa Vouno and next door to the airport. Our cruises leave from Vlychada Marina on the south coast; a driver collects you at your hotel in Kamari and brings you back after the cruise. Below: how the pickup works, what a Kamari guest sees on the water, and which cruise to pick.
How pickup from Kamari works
- Included in the price. Round-trip transportation between your hotel in Kamari and Vlychada Marina is part of every cruise, shared or private; there is nothing to add at checkout.
- The time comes the day before. We confirm your exact pickup time the day before the cruise. Departure times move a little through the season with the sun, which is why no fixed pickup time is printed here.
- Departure from Vlychada Marina. Every cruise leaves from the small fishing harbor on the south coast and returns there; the ride back to Kamari is included.
- Tell us where you stay. Give us the name of your hotel in Kamari when you book, or by WhatsApp, so the driver knows where to find you.
Kamari from the water
Kamari faces the open sea to the east; the catamaran routes run on the other side of the island, along the south coast and inside the caldera. That is the point of the day. From Kamari’s beach you see sand and sea; from the catamaran you see the island’s volcanic side, which no road reaches: Red Beach, the white cliffs of White Beach and Mesa Pigadia, the lava of the volcano, the warm water of the Hot Springs and the cliffs below Fira.
Swimming happens at the stops along the way, from the stern ladder, with snorkeling gear and towels on board, and the meal is cooked on board while the boat lies at anchor. Families staying in Kamari usually take the day cruise for the daylight swims; our guide to sailing with kids has the details.

Before your pickup
Wear your swimwear under your clothes; towels and snorkeling gear are on board. Bring sunscreen and a hat, and a light layer for the ride back after the sunset cruises. Our what-to-wear guide and seasickness notes cover the rest.
