Which Santorini Boat Tour Is Right for You?
Three questions, one honest answer. Tell us who is sailing, when you want to be on the water and whether you would rather share the deck or have the boat to yourselves, and we point you to the right cruise with its real price.
Ten cruises leave from Vlychada Marina: two shared catamaran cruises at €80 (day) and €95 (sunset) per person, three private charters from €1,200, and five occasion cruises arranged directly with us. Most guests are happiest on one of the first two, but the right pick depends on your group, the time of day and how much freedom you want over the route. Answer below and we will say which one we would book in your place, why, and what the close alternative is.

How we match you
The logic is simple and we are happy to show it. A marriage proposal, a wedding, a honeymoon or a bachelor party goes to the cruise designed for that occasion. “The whole day” means the Full-Day Private Cruise, the only one that reaches Thirasia, the St. Nicholas islet and Ammoudi Bay below Oia. A speedboat request goes to the RIB boat tour. Everyone else is matched on two things: morning or sunset, and shared or private. Couples and families who are not sure get the shared cruise, because its deck stays comfortable and the food, drinks and stops are the same; groups who are not sure get the private charter, because from four to six guests the per-person difference is smaller than most people expect.
What every cruise includes
Whichever cruise the chooser lands on, the essentials do not change: round-trip hotel transportation, a freshly prepared meal on board with Santorini wine, beer, soft drinks and water, snorkeling equipment and towels, and a captain and crew who guide the day in English and Greek. Fuel, insurance and port fees are in the price. The boats sail at a comfortable capacity, and the assigned vessel may vary.
Still torn?
Read the two comparisons that settle most decisions, morning vs sunset and private vs semi-private, follow every stop on the sailing route maps, or ask us directly: message us on WhatsApp and we answer in person, usually within the hour in season.
Can we book the shared cruises online?
Yes. The Semi-Private Day Cruise, the Semi-Private Sunset Cruise and the three private charters book online in a minute through our secure booking page; the price you see is the price you pay. The five occasion cruises are arranged directly with us so the details fit the day.
What if our group is larger than six?
The private charters cover up to 6 guests, and each extra guest adds €100. A bachelor or bachelorette party is priced for up to 10 guests at €1,700. The crew keeps every boat at a comfortable capacity, so just tell us your number and we confirm the right setup.
Is the morning or the sunset cruise better for children?
Morning, almost always: the sea is calmer, the water brighter for swimming, and children are back at the hotel by mid-afternoon. Families who want to set their own pace often choose the private day charter.
