What to Wear on a Santorini Catamaran Cruise

Short answer: swimwear + light layers. Dark swimsuit for the Hot Springs, a windproof layer for after sunset, and shoes you can slip off.

Golden-hour rest on deck during a Santorini sailing cruise

What should you wear on the cruise?

Dress for a beach day that ends in a breeze: swimwear under light clothes, a hat and sunglasses, and one warm layer — the deck cools fast once the sun drops. Choose a dark swimsuit if you plan to float in the Hot Springs: the mineral-rich water contains sulfur and can leave marks on light fabrics.

Footwear

Barefoot is the deck standard — you’ll kick shoes off at the swim platform anyway. Sandals or boat-friendly slip-ons are ideal; leave stilettos and slick-soled dress shoes at the hotel.

For the sunset cruise

Golden hour photographs beautifully but blows cool. Bring a light jacket, wrap or hoodie for the last ninety minutes — the crew keeps the wine coming, and you’ll want to stay on deck for the show.

What you don’t need to bring

Towels and snorkeling gear are already on board, and the meal with drinks is included. Room in your bag is better spent on sunscreen and a charged phone — the camera roll fills fast.
