  • Departure from Vlychada Marina. Every cruise leaves from the small fishing harbor on the south coast and returns there; the ride back to Fira is included.

Fira from the water

Every one of our caldera cruises sails up to the old port of Fira. On the shared day and sunset cruises and the private day and sunset charters it is the last stop before the turn home, after Red Beach, White Beach, Mesa Pigadia, the volcano and the Hot Springs. From the deck you look up the cliff you walked down: the cable-car line, the switchbacks of the old path and the white houses stacked along the rim.

On the full-day private cruise Fira comes last of eight stops, after Thirasia and Oia. Whichever cruise you take, the day ends back at Vlychada, and the driver who collected you in Fira is there for the ride home.
