Vlychada Marina: Where Your Cruise Begins
Short answer: Vlychada is the small fishing harbor on Santorini’s south coast where our cruises depart — calm boarding, sculpted white cliffs, and the caldera highlights minutes away.

What is Vlychada?
Vlychada is a small fishing refuge on the island’s southern tip — the closest thing Santorini has to a marina. It’s where our boats live and where every Sirigos Sailing cruise begins: calmer and easier to board than the busy caldera ports, with parking nearby and none of the cable-car queues.
Getting there
Hotel transportation is included with our cruises — you’ll be collected and returned without thinking about logistics (the exact pickup time is confirmed the day before; see how it works from Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, Kamari or Perissa). Coming under your own steam, Vlychada is roughly 20–25 minutes’ drive from Fira; taxis and rental cars both know it well.
Why boats start here
Geography: the south coast puts Red Beach, White Beach and Mesa Pigadia minutes from the harbor mouth, so your cruise starts with highlights instead of a long motor. The harbor’s shelter also makes boarding gentle for all ages.
The landscape around the harbor
Vlychada’s wind-carved white cliffs — locals call the beach’s sculpted walls a moonscape — are a sight in their own right. Arrive a little early and walk the sand before you sail.
